Ice & Snow (2009)

These were surprisingly hard. I couldn’t tell you what those things in the top right panel are. The dots on the foreground snow in the top left panel are supposed to be sparkling snow. You can’t really capture it in a still image. It’s something you just have to see. It happens when a fine powder of single snowflakes coats the top layer and it’s dark outside. Any light illuminating the snow is reflected back like a mirror only from the snowflakes which happen to face you.
