If you have a fortune you can buy lots of souvenirs--hats, wooden and grass shoes, grass and silk shirts, purses and about any kind of corn whisky you want. There is one brand that arrived here from Manila which killed five sailors in about as many days. I haven't even tasted the stuff. Only a few fools do. They adopt popular names like "three feathers, old crow" for the stuff.
