Golden Field (2009)

Drawing on inspiration from Jules Bastien-Lepage. I’m too much of a wimp to put an actual person in the scene. The thing I love about that painting is the grass, anyhow. I didn’t particularly like how he did the sky but it seems to make the composition better than my clear sky. Oh well, it’s not a contest.
