I previously processed this but decided to do it again for my planetary nebula collection. It was one of the very first things I attempted and I lacked quite a bit of technique and knowledge about processing. What a difference knowing what you’re doing makes.
It has no common name. I’d call it the Brain Nebula. It looks somewhat like a superior view of a human brain.
Red: hst_11956_05_wfpc2_f673n_wf_sci + hst_11956_05_wfpc2_f658n_wf_sci
Green: hst_11956_05_wfpc2_f656n_wf_sci
Blue: hst_11956_05_wfpc2_f502n_wf_sci + hst_11956_05_wfpc2_f469n_wf_sci
North is NOT up.
